BACK TO ADVENTURE/DE NUEVO A LA AVENTURA

 Though we've already talked about this at Emelkin 1, we're conscious about internet's advantages as a media for the contents we're developing at Ka-Boom!, and we'll keep doing them at the web-comics site. Nevertheless, we're starting a new era for our Studio as content developers and as a publishing house and other media, and we'll go back to printing several titles in paper, as is the traditional way, this will happen thanks to the support we're receiving now-a-days, and it'll expand through many branches.

Aunque ya hemos hablado de esto en Emelkin 1, estamos conscientes de las virtudes del internet como medio para los contenidos que en ¡Ka-Boom!  estamos desarrollando y que seguiremos realizando en los llamados webcomics, sin embargo, estamos entrando en una nueva era para nuestro Estudio como desarrolladores de contenidos a nivel editorial y de otros medios, y  nuevamente volveremos a las andadas publicando varios títulos en papel a la manera tradicional, esto gracias a los apoyos de los que en estos momentos estamos gozando y que se expanderá en muchos rubros.

At last, after many years of fighting, we've managed to capture the attention of business men who value the efforts that Ka-Boom! Estudio has been through in content development and high-ability artists development, which I think is the most important thing. These artists have extraordinary abilities and high-quality portfolios. Their commitment and loyalty are the most important things these artists have developed, virtues that any company looks for to move forward.

Por fin después de tantos años de lucha, hemos logrado capturar la atención de empresarios que valoran a toda costa los esfuerzos que ¡Ka-Boom! Estudio ha realizado tanto en la elaboración de contenidos, como en lo que creo más importante, en el desarrollo de artistas con habilidades extraordinarias, no sólo en calidad de trabajo sino en compromiso y lealtad que toda empresa busca para seguir hacia adelante.

This doesn't mean that we'll stop uploading our works to the web, but as we've always mentioned, both media can coexist without any problems. I know many people criticize our supposed stubbornness about keeping printed publications on air, but they'll never convince me about the absence of audience for printed media. Somewhere deep in my heart, I know and clearly see that a determined audience will still like to have a publication in their hands and enjoy the ink's smell, feel the collected item and share it with his family.

Esto no quiere decir que no seguiremos subiendo nuestros trabajos a la red, sino como lo hemos mencionado siempre, ambos medios pueden convivir sin ningún problema. Sé que muchas personas critican nuestra supuesta terquedad con respecto a lo de seguir haciendo publicaciones impresas, pero jamás me convencerán que ya no hay público para el papel, en el fondo de mi ser sé y veo con claridad que un público determinado, seguirá gustando de tener la publicación entre sus manos y difrutar el olor a tinta, el sentir lo coleccionado y compartirlo con la familia.

Though times have changed, printed comic books will prevail at the hands of true-hearted fans. Just as Jazz, the Beatles, Classic music, etc., were popular and commercial during their respective epochs, printed comic books will have their importance precisely when the very same creative people see and recognize the historic memory, which some people elsewhere try at all costs to deny.

Aunque los tiempos han cambiado, el cómic impreso prevalecerá en las manos de los fans de corazón.  Así como antes fueron populares y hasta comerciales en sus respectivas épocas, el Jazz, los Beatles, La música Clásica, etc., el cómic impreso tendrá su importancia precisamente cuando los mismos creativos vean y reconozcan la memoria histórica que algunos por ahí tratan a toda costa de negar.
